Sturgis veteran raises flag at Target Field
My wife and I took in a baseball game at Target Field in Minneapolis over the weekend. The American flag was raised by George Blair, a World War II veteran from Sturgis, S.D. My wife snapped this picture of Blair, who was shown on the stadium’s giant screen and received a loud ovation.
That’s my dad! It was a wonderful experience for him. Six of his nine children were in attendance to help celebrate his 89th birthday.
